How to make a million and save the planet: Environmental Capitalism 001 – Dr. Michael Edesess by Low Carbon Eco-Innovatory
June 26 @ 12:00 pm - 2:30 pm
A lot of business people as well as environmentalists mistakenly believe that what is good for business is bad for the environment, and what is good for the environment can only impose profit-reducing constraints on business. But business done properly can profit greatly by helping position the human economy within the larger ecology, in such a way that all resources are used somewhere and used efficiently
Low Carbon Eco Innovatory is delighted to be hosting Dr Michael Edesess to lead this fascinating seminar. A mathematician and economist with experience in investing, energy and sustainable development, Dr Edesess is the author of “The Big Investment Lie” and “The 3 simple rules of investing: Why everything you’ve heard about investing is wrong and what to do instead”.
Currently, Dr Edesess is Adjunct Associate Professor at The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology and a regular contributor for MarketWatch and South China Morning Post.
Please join us on Wednesday 26 June at 12pm in the James Parsons Building here at LJMU, Byrom Street Campus, Liverpool for this special edition event. Lunch and refreshments will follow so please RSVP to allow us to cater accordingly, noting any special dietary requirements.
We look forward to seeing you there.
